Dear Writer,

You have a story inside of you that is so beautiful and is so impactful that the world needs to read it. As a writer, you understand the power of your words, but to make them truly resonate you also need to understand our humanity.

I’ve always felt that writing a story is as exciting as the novel itself. You begin on your first page with hope and desire, and then the classic antagonist of the writer’s struggle knocks on your door and moves right on in. The self-doubt that creeps up unannounced, the internal fears that keep you from picking up your pen, the creative block that dances around you in weird costumes making your words confused… those are the plot points that keep your pages turning. Are you going to finish your story? Is it ever going to be worth reading? Is anyone even going to see it?

Well, this is your story. Only you know how it ends.

But what if I told you, this is the experience of every writer? We’re all on the same path, and yet each of our paths look so different from one another. We all experience the same parts of our humanity, and yet we all have different stories to tell. This is the beauty of writing. And the best part is that you don’t have to go at it all alone!

I’d like you to be part of my writing community! I’d love if you joined me every other Sunday for a writing workshop that is free to attend and filled with other writer’s just like you. But more than anything, I want you to be creatively inspired so you can write the words that are already inside of you; because someone out there really needs to read them.

If this is you, if this is what you want, then enter your email below to receive free creative inspiration throughout the month designed specifically to inspire your words and add depth to your WIP with less of the writer’s struggle.

My Current Gift to You:

A recording of my last writer’s workshop, “Fear & The First Page”.

Some of the questions we talked about are:
– What is fear?
– How do you know what kind of fear your protagonist has?
– How does the fear show up in their every day?
– What about the antagonist?
– How do you use the fear to build a basic plot?
